Dr. Ruggiero grew up in the country near Fenelon Falls surrounded by many animals including dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, and chickens. She graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2013 before spending a year at a busy small animal emergency veterinary hospital. She has special interests in veterinary surgery and dermatology. In her spare time, Dr. Ruggiero likes to spend time in the garden, sing in choir, and learn the ukulele. She lives with her husband and two cats, Kuro and Nico.
