What to Expect As a new client of our practice, you can expect our full attention to you and your pets’ needs. Our services are provided with honest, fair compassionate patient care. When you arrive for your appointment, our receptionist will greet you and check you and your pet in for your appointment. She will then weigh your animal and usher you into an examination room. One of our Registered Veterinary Technician’s (RVT) will then enter the room and take a complete history on your animal.
This is done by asking you questions so that everyone involved in your pet’s care has a clear picture of what is occurring. Once the RVT has a clear understanding of your pet’s needs, she will let the Doctor know that you and your furry family member are ready to be seen. When meeting with one of our Doctor’s you can expect a full examination on your pet, answer any questions you have and plan further diagnostics or treatment that is necessary to keep your pet in his/her best health. Once your treatment plan is set and the Doctor has completed his/her work, a RVT or TA (Technician Assistant) will enter the exam room and provide you with any further educational information and answer any routine wellness and care questions.
The RVT or TA will then walk you to the reception area where the billing will be taken care of and your next appointment will be booked for you. Lastly, within a few days following your appointment, you can expect a follow-up call from one of our team members to be sure that your furry family member is doing well and answer any further questions that you might have.
Our goal is to see all of our clients and patients on time, and although we have time allotted for emergencies, there will be times when the unexpected may create delays. We will ensure these are minimized as much as possible. We look forward to meeting you and your human and animal family members!*
